Behind The Lens
Location
Zaragoza, Spain.Time
It was taken after working hours around 6 PM or so.Lighting
Natural light. It was cloudy so the light was soft during the shot.Equipment
Canon 60D with a vintage Olympus 50mm 1.8 lens - which is why the EXIF information of this photo is all over the place.Inspiration
During the day we shot a client interview and the rest of the day was leisure time. I took a stroll around the city with my camera and noticed a bird flying to the top of the glass building. The reflection looked interesting so I leaned myself into a wall and pointed my camera to the building's top edge. I took a few shots to tweak my settings and then waited around 20 minutes for the next bird - and then CLICK!Editing
Small color and contrast tweaks done in the RAW editor and some small window cleaning in Photoshop. In my camera bag
Canon 60D, Sigma 10-20mm 3.5, Olympus 35mm 2.8, Canon 50mm 1.8, Helios 44-2 58mm 2.0, Tokina 135mm 2.8 and since I mostly shoot videos I also have a RØDE VideoMic Pro, RØDE SmartLav+, ZOOM H1 audio recorder and GoPro Hero 5 Black Edition. Also a small reflector, few extra batteries for both cameras and a bunch of SD-cards.Feedback
In general - street photography is about finding new angles to things that happen around us on daily basis. Look around you and be open to shoot something that you wouldn't normally photograph.
