Lighting

The great thing about digital for fireworks is the immediate feedback you can try different iso, aperture and shutter speed to get the results you want to achieve.

Equipment

Nikon d300 with 18-200 vr lens, induro tripod.

Inspiration

I always wanted to get a shot of fireworks reflecting on water. It took some homework to find the actual location where they were setting off the fireworks and than finding the right location to capture the reflection.

Editing

Basic post processing shadow, highlights, saturation, clarity

In my camera bag

Basically I just set out with the Nikon d300 and the 18-200 vr lens
