The leopard (Panthera pardus) is one of the five species in the genus Panthera, a member of the Felidae. The leopard has a wide range in sub-Saharan Africa and parts of Asia. This beautiful cat is listed as vulnerable on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List because leopard populations are threatened by habitat loss and fragmentation, and are declining in large parts of the global range.
The leopard’s beautiful fur is thought by some people to be something they should and can wear. This is never correct and people who wear the fur of this animal, IMHO, are perverted and the personification of selfish. Just sayin’.

Nice perspective of one of my favorite cats. I agree with you whole heartedly on your opinion of the usage of their coats. With all the new innovations in clothing, there is no need to be unkind, cruel and selfish.

I love this, i love the textures of the tree and look at the colors of the tree and the Leopard they alsmost blend in because in reality animals usually blending in with nature so people or other animals cannot see them.

I endorse everything use just said....My distaste for people who would kill such a magnificent animal for any reason runs quite deep ...This is just an incredible shot, Kay!

I love the way that he is perched and that intent look on his majestic face. He blends so well into his surroundings. To think that there are bloodthirsty, sick people out there hunting these beautiful creature makes my stomach turn. I know that it is a never ending struggle to stop them. I wonder how they would like it if someone made a coat out of them?

I think it would be justified. But it would also be ugly. All that skin....
