Location
This was taken in my herb garden after a big storm. The rain had lightened up to a drizzle when I walked out to check out any damage to the plants.Time
In the evening directly after a storm.Lighting
The lighting was magical. Storms had just cleared out, the sun was setting with just enough golden glow across the sky to make it perfect for pics,Equipment
Sony Cyber shot set on micro.Inspiration
Raindrops has and will continue to be an inspiration. Nature, sunsets and raindrops all seem to call my name with me just having to respond with a camera in hand.Editing
I did do some evening out of lighting with this pic. Also cropping and darkening of the flower as it is a super delicate flower which tends to pick up any light making it look faded. Darkening the color made the drops pop out which was the effect I was seeing in my mind's eye.In my camera bag
Equipment in my bag usually a couple of filters to filter out the harshness of sun pics as I love sunsets and the effects of the sun on nature pics. Tripod is usually close at hand and a landscape lens for those wide shots.Feedback
For shooting macro, think close, closer and closer yet and be patient.
