This Yearling colt looks like he was just drying off, possibly had been in the water near by. I have seen as few as 5 horses in this area, and one time my wife and I counted about 160 different horses. It's a sight to see.

One day I have got to go your way to see them. I would love it! I remember little about growing up in Colorado (lived there till about the age of 5), but I do remember the wild horses out back. I really like your viewpoint from down low...to me, the rock in the forefront adds depth. Thanks for sharing. Connie

Thank You Connie.... I still get thrilled every time we go out and see the Mustangs, and I've been doing it for several years. There are several places around the Reno area that they can be seen, but I have one spot that's about 10 miles from the house that's my favorite. You never know what you are going to see. Should be time for the new foals pretty soon, so I need to go back out and see what going on...;0) I'll post more if I get lucky. I had this one printed on an 18" x 24" canvas.
Thanks... Mike
