Virginia City, Nevada Cemetery In Infrared
I did this for a Halloween post last October. It was shot with a Canon 60D, converted to 590nm Super Color.

This may sound dumb, but this is a beautiful effect!
I have found a weird fascination with old historic Cemetery's.
I've Shot Boothill, and Tombstone & Jerome, AZ. Very interesting. Have you ever gotten something in your picture you couldn't explain? if your interested take a look at my cemetery pictures.

Hi Arizona.... Thank you for the complement on the Infrared picture. I love old cemeteries too, and have been shooting them for years, but have never gotten any ghost images. I wish I had. I had two external hard drives crash in December, so I lost most of my old cemetery pictures along with 1000's of other pictures, so I 'm kinda starting over. Infrared seem like it would be a good medium for capturing unusual images too, but so far nothing. I will check your cemetery pictures out too.... Thanks... Mike

Amanda... Yes it is, I can spend hours walking around the cemetery, seems like I always find something new when I do.

Mike love this one. Did you use infrared in post processing is that what 590nm super color mean or did you convert your camera to infrared? I have an old camera I'm thinking about doing that to. ~~~Stef~~~

Hi Stef... No, I have two Canon cameras converted to infrared. One a Canon 60D converted to 590nm Super Color, and another, a Canon 7D converted to 790nm infrared. Mine were done by Life Pixel. Just google them for more info. If I can be of any help just let me know. email is mike702@ymail.com Infrared just gives you a whole other way of looking at the world.
