Location
I took this photo during trip in the ardennes forests (Belgium). Close to the French border.Time
After a lovely evening with my partner, a thick fog appeared. I waited till after midnight to venture out. I took this shot around 2 am.Lighting
The strong (orange) backlight is lightpolution from a town down the valley. A full moon, and the fog creates a very soft fill light.Equipment
This was shot on a Sony A7, Remote trigger, metabones ef-em mark IV and a Sigma 12-24. I probably used a Cullmann nanomax tripod or a manfrotto hihat (can't remember).Inspiration
I hadn't planned to go out that evening. I guess I just got inspired in the moment.Editing
Not much. Added a bit of clarity in cameraRAW, pulled down the highlights. Some minor color adjustments (saturation, vibrance). In my camera bag
My bag is always changing. I usually use a national geographic satchel or rucksack. My basic kit includes a Sony A7 or A7s, a few manual primes (Canon FD or samyang cine primes) or a few modern zoom (sigma EX) lenses.Feedback
Take your time. Don't rush.
