Again this is one of the series of shots I had with the six (6) Reindeers. This is the photo where I got them all. I followed them on to the other end part of Lake Hennepin. I was happy when a friend of mine Sue Gonzaga told me about the names of the reindeers. Then I researched on them, exactly 6 reindeers where used by Santa Claus, they are named as Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, and Blitzen. Wow I must be lucky to witnessed them out for walking and I am lucky to have my friend.

Wow! Wonderful capture that you really worked for and it paid off. Beautiful composition and love the footprints! We see one or two in our yard once in a while but have never seen that many at once. Nice work. Voted!

One of the few shots I voted for as different than the normal. It looks like some are wearing shoes :)

I love this photo but am pretty sure that those are not reindeer or caribou, but white tail deer, unless you were not being serious . Regardless, it is an amazing shot.

When in Norway, these guys walk along the roud. I found out I didn't need to hike with my gear as I did. Was very amusing to me.

Location
I took this photo at Lake Hennepin, Minnesota, USA at the middle of the Frozen Tundra.Time
I took the photo at exactly 10:19:01 AM when the wind die down a little bit.Lighting
Well, winter has the most overcast sky. However the overcast lighting acted a big soft box and lighted well my subjects. though I don't have dramatic sky but I got wonderful light to my subjects that made the photo so interesting.Equipment
Canon EOS 500D, EF-S18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS,Inspiration
I saw wild life are struggling also due to climate change. They travelled back and forth just to look for food. I feel their pain and suffering. In the midst of their struggle I saw beauty. They are so beautiful. They walk in the same path and I can tell they have intelligence. I just want to show to the viewers their beauty and their struggle in this frozen tundra.Editing
Yes I corrected the white balance a little bit.In my camera bag
I have 4 canon cameras. I usually put the lenses in it so I won't change it anymore to in the open space to prevent dusts. I have circular polarizer, Graduated Natural Density and Tripod.Feedback
Bundled up. Taking photos on winter is not a joke. You can easily be dried out, you can easily have frost bites, and you can easily have wind burn. If you can wear face mask do it. Wear winter hat. Don't bring too much in your bag tough to walk in the snow. you can wear winter cleats, or winter shoes. However, I would advise you need to travel light, it will really help a lot. When you take photos of wild life it is good if you could have the blind or if you have the super telephoto lens would it help to. Just remember that "if your photo isn't good enough, you aren't near enough!" You can get lots of details when you are close to your subject.
