I can't remember where I was when i took this photograph but what I can remember is who I was with. To me this is photograph is a captured moment that represents the perfect romantic night I had.Time
it was taken after a long romantic walks towards the sunset when me and my girlfriend found this little beach and decide to watch the sunset all smuggled up.Lighting
there was nothing really special about the lighting apart from seizing the moment of the sunset its selfEquipment
I used a Nikon d200 with a tripod and a 10 to 20 mil sigma lensInspiration
Me and my girlfriend had a long romantic walks towards the sunset when we came across this beach and decide to watch the sunset all smuggled up. I didn't what the moment to end so I was really qas inspired to capture the tranquil setting of the sun to alway have the reminder of that perfect romantic night.Editing
I processed the image using Photoshop 6. I used a light lilac photofiltre and a black vignette to draw the eyes to the Triangle formation of the Black Rocks which have like for the darkness and colourful contrast they create between them and the sunset on the clouds, sea and beachIn my camera bag
I don't have a lot of money to spend onot expensive equipment so my bag only really consists of my camera which will either be Nikon d200 or my Niton 3200. And two lenses my 55 to 300mm Nikon lens and10 to 20 Mm sigma lens and a clean cloth.Feedback
For me the best advice is to remember that every sunset is different from the sky, ground and objects it reflex on, every comes a new opportunity to have fun experimenting to find your own unique Style. I like to find the one thing that stands out or intrigued me and use it to create a focal Point. Once i have my focal Point whether it's a bottle of whisky half buried in the Sand, a formation of rocks or a boat i try connected the view attention to feel there in that moment with me..I think about how the the light of the setting sun brings to life the colours, shadows, lines and textures of everything in sight.
