Location
The Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Delray Beach, FL.Time
Mid morning (around 8am).Lighting
This shot was taken in the shade.Equipment
Nikon Coolpix P90.Inspiration
The morning i took this pic there we literally thousands of these little guys all over the boardwalk. Only a few of them were stacked like this. Ive never seen bugs act like this and just thought it was quite interesting looking.Editing
Blurred the BG and sharpened a little. In my camera bag
Canon T3i, 18-55 & 55-250mm lenses, lens wipes, large ziplock bag, pocket knife and band aids(im quite accident prone lol).Feedback
When approaching bugs go slow and be quiet so as not to spook them. Best time to catch nature at its best is mid morning when they are all out and out before the day heats up too much. Try to capture animals doing something, be it eating or just doing weird stuff. It makes for a more interesting subject.
