Abstract Landscape Photography. Taken on the bridge that crosses the Inland Sea , a river estuary that links the waterways of the Isle of Anglesey with the Irish Sea , at the basin of my home village of Llanfachraeth. The model is my daughter taking full advantage of the Spring sunshine on her first visit home in over a year because of the Coronavirus Pandemic . The composition takes full advantage of the leading lines created by the pattern repetition of the up and down bridge and the vivid shadows created by the direction of the mid afternoon sunlight. The image was shot from above because of my position on the Apex of the bridge but the camera was held at a tilted position quite close to ground level to exaggerate the depth and to elongate the shadow and curved details of the bridges architecture allowing the viewer to gain a feeling of the experience of walking on the bridge behind the subject .
