Abstract Object Fine Art photography in Black and White. Called , 'Bedtime', these empty swings at our village park still dusted with daylight shadows should remind us all of the horrors of having to stop play and go home to bed during the Summer months when it always seemed like such torture to get under the covers with the sun still laughing at us through the curtained window. the image was taken using macro techniques and settings with the sun behind the object to gain the greatest intensity of shadow geometry across the composition. the angle of the camera was at a sharp tilt from a ground level pov ( why my signature style involves me constantly scrambling around in the dirt with my chronic health condition I really do not know ). The perspective was partially on the diagonal to the swings but despite their stillness the swing in the foreground was pushed and then shot with continuous shooting to get the images I wanted in both colour and black and white , in this case ensuring that the swings were not obscuring one another . The photograph was taken in colour but converted to black and white in the lightroom.
