Location
This photo was taken in the township of Motueka at the top of the South Island of New Zealand.Time
It was taken in the early evening on an late summers day.Lighting
The lighting worked well being later in the evening as normally there’s a fair amount of glare from the sea.Equipment
This was shot on a DJI Mavic Pro 2. The seagulls made it particularly difficult to retrieve as they thought it was a great game.Inspiration
I love taking top down photos with the drone and this structure without any extra distractions in the photo was just what I was after.Editing
I processed this all on a iPhone 11 Pro Max using Lightroom and Snapseed. In my camera bag
I usually carry an iPhone 11 Pro Max and a Joby tripod but have recently upgraded to the 15. I carry my DJI drone most places but due to a lot of conversation land and airports there aren’t too many places to fly it.Feedback
Practice evasive manoeuvres with the drone if you are flying seaside ????
