Behind The Lens

Location

We were on vacation in the beautiful state of Washington, USA, and while driving across this river we stopped so I could capture the amazing scene.

Time

It was a typical overcast, foggy early morning, providing a realistic feel for the weather of the area.

Lighting

The overcast sky, clouds, and fog provided a lovely soft light to enable showing the rich details of the scene.

Equipment

Canon 7D, still one of my favorite cameras.

Inspiration

I can't imagine anyone just driving right by this gorgeous landscape without stopping to capture the moment.

Editing

Minimal post-processing was needed. Mother Nature did all the work.

In my camera bag

Canon 7D's, Canon L lenses, Sigma Long lens, tripod, shutter release, filters, extra cards and batteries and a cleaning cloth are all most important.
