Great color composition. Love it.
I'm pleased you joined my challenge "The November 2020 Collection". Great, thanks, and let's hope it turns all right well for you. The competition is, as ever, very hard! That is this month especially the case, because VB approved the challenge for the gallery and extended the duration. Good luck.

Location
I took this photo in my yard as I walked home from delivering the mail to a neighbor. This daily trek often reveals interesting and beautiful subjects for me so I usually have my camera with me.Time
Just a few minutes before noon, with a gorgeous blue November sky.Lighting
My best shots are the ones that natural lighting out shines any artificial light that I have found. This high noon glow, almost a glare, being caught in the beard of the grass just caught my eye. The reflection off the shiny red leaves on the tree behind presented the perfect backdrop.Equipment
My Nikon Coolpix B600 was all I used for this shot. I didn't use a tripod, but the grass was growing around our well and I did brace against the side of the well.Inspiration
The tree in the background was glorious in the bright November sun. As I was playing with it as my subject I noticed how the grass offered a nice contrast. As I looked closer, the grass was as interesting as the tree. This is a special tree and once again, it proved to give me happiness.Editing
I don't do any post-processing. I may lighten a picture but that is about the extent of my knowledge goes. My hope is to learn more soon.In my camera bag
My bag is light weight, it has my camera, Nikon Coolpix B600; a lens cleaning tool and an extra battery... I hate running out of power!Feedback
The only things needed to get a shot like this are an eye for beauty in nature, the luck to have your camera with you when you see it and, most importantly for a shot like this, you need a great husband that will help you up from that awkward kneeling position.
