It can be very difficult for most to get one Hummer and you got two! Well done! I like the feel of this Photograph. Congrats on feature!

That is amazing. I tried for days to get a photo like this. Impressive!

This photo was a surprise capture while testing the focus speed of my new camera. What better subject to test than hummingbirds and I didn't have to leave the house. Was shocked to get two in one frame which is tough on a good day.Time
I captured this in the evening thus the backlight background. But it was an overcast day which helped.Lighting
Lighting was obviously all natural.Equipment

I literally was practicing with different focal point options on a new camera. I've always loved trying to capture hummingbirds in flight and during the summer I have quite a few that stay around the house. They can be a little picky about who they let come to the feeder and I was able to capture these two together. Obviously I was pleased with the new camera's focus ability.Editing
Like with most bird shoots you see this one is cropped a fair amount. Also Photoshopped out a little bit of a power line that was in the corner. In my camera bag
I love photographing any wildlife and especially birds so I always carry my 100-400mm. Wishing I had a larger one but it's just a hobby so can't justify that. Really can't justify what I have now!Feedback
You have to try to anticipate wildlife as much as possible. In this case have a feeder makes it easy to watch the hummingbirds flight patterns. You'd be surprised how much it's the same if you pay attention. Then find a spot to sit that allows you to pan with their flight path. Last thing is pray....because you need a little luck to capture two in flight and in focus. I've got hundreds of shots of hummingbird tails as they leave the frame so don't worry it happens just keep trying and watching their patterns. Good luck!
