In Kuban, where I live (this is the southern region of Russia, where the Cossacks live), there is a saying: "My hut on the edge - I don't know anything." This is like the opinion of a typical farmer who lives events only inside his fence and distanced himself from the world around him. A series of photos about the abandoned house # 13 in the Kuban village of Kutaisi, Krasnodar territory, where no one has lived for 40 years, is the best illustration of this saying. Seclusion, isolation from the outside world, isolation and non-participation in public life in the current situation is a social model of behavior that leads to oblivion and death. No amount of isolation and selfishness can save you from external threats. Being alone, "on the edge of the village", will perish in abandonment and desolation, overgrown with weeds of their fears and finally demolish the roof.
