This photo was taken in my home and I was playing with different perspectives and different angles. I am a professional photographer always 'looking' for something different.Time
This photo was taken in my home in Melbourne, Australia at 4pm in the autumn of May. I remember wanting make the best use of the soft natural light emanating from the window nearby and to also work on different perspectives and angles to capture the surrounding elements.Lighting
I wanted the image to convey a sense of anxiousness whilst voyeuristically peering from above to understand the sense of emotion.Equipment
This was shot using a Nikon D750 and a 50mm lens at f2, 125sec, ISO100. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
I was originally looking for a warehouse type environmentI and found that I could achieve similar results within the home. I was interested in using the elements within to frame and compose the shot whilst adding a slight abstract quality to the composition.Editing
There was minimal retouching done, touched up the highlights and contrast levels and a little coler correction. That was all.In my camera bag
I generally carry a Nikon Z6, 50mm f1.8, 24-70mm f2.8, sometimes 85mm f1.8 but this is all dependant on the shoot.Feedback
My advice for similar shoots is lighting, lighting, lighting, natural or artificial then consider your composition, the elements you want in the shot and what are you trying to convey.
