Location
This picture was taken on the freezing cold of Hietaniemi's Cemetery, Helsinki.Time
I remember this was the coldest day of my stay on the city of Helsinki, and it was around 5pm. I had to take my gloves off to take the shot, and about 2 minutes later, I couldn't feel my fingers. 2 minutes more and the auto-focus stopped working. Then, right after I took the picture, the camera went off. Just in time!Lighting
It had been a gray day, and so were the three days before. Snowing too. Suddenly around 5pm some gazes of light started to appear, and these, mixed with the white snow, created a perfect light for my little buddy.Equipment
My old friend, Nikon D80, with the 70-200 No VR Lens.Inspiration
Timing was perfect.Editing
Did some process on the light because it was a little soft, and added some snowflakes to empower the scene. In my camera bag
DX Nikon D7000, basic lenses are 50mm f1.8 and 16-85mm f4.5-5.6. Then I added the 70-200mm with a f2.8 all the way. Manffroto tripod. Now I got some ND filters for landscapes.Feedback
You can't catch light sitting at home, get up, get out. EARLY.
