Jasmine and I took this picture close to Bischofszell (Switzerland). It is an old and small chapel, built in the 13th or 14th century.Time
The time was in the afternoon, cloudy day - but we used a flash anywayLighting
a cloudy day and I wanted that the Colors of the dress stick out right out of cam - therefore we used my portable flash.Equipment
Canon EOS 5DsR, Sigma 50/1.4 Art, Elinchrom ELB 400, Octa 100cm with grid. For this shot the ELB was set to "HS": Tv 1/5000, Av 1.6, ISO 100, ELB 6.0 (max)Inspiration
I always wanted to have that old Chapel in one of my Pictures. Having received the green Dress a few days earlier I wanted a Picture in which the Dress and Jasmine is shown in bright and shiny Colors. the background had to be greyish and a bit blurry.Editing
I added overall contrast & made the vignette more visible - that is about it.In my camera bag
Camera, EF 16-35/4 IS, EF 24/1.4 II, EF 35/1.4 II, Sigma 50/1.4 Art, EF 85/1.2 and EF 70-200/2.8 IS II - my bag is big and heavy...Feedback
take Pictures of your area - with you mobile phone - get to know your area and you can use small spots that are not "overused" by other photographers.
