A Foggy Memory... While on my way to Alabama, I stop to let my truck cool down and found myself on this foggy backwoods side road. The smell of rain mixed with moss along with natures compost permeated from the forest bed and brought back childhood memories when growing up in the south. I was home for a few minutes.Time

Camera Settings: AE, Auto WB ISO 160 f/10, 1/60 50 mm focal lengthEquipment
I used my Canon EOS 60D with my EF-S 50mm f/1.8 II lens. Natural light, no flash. Hand held.Inspiration
I loved the entire scene. It had just rained. The trees made a canopy blocking even more light out of this already overcast day.Editing
I increased the contrast and saturation bringing out the woodsy tones. In my camera bag
My equipment backpack contains my Canon 60D with extra battery grip , and 3 lenses: EF-S 50mm, EF-S18mm-135mm and EF 70mm-300mm, memory cards, battery charger, 3 extra charged batteries, a rain slicker, lens cleaner and remote shutter. Business cards.Feedback
Shoot not only by sight, but by emotion as well. It's worth capturing if it has transported you to a place holding a memory bookmark from some time and place in your life.
