I love the high-key processing in this image - and that reflection is amazing!! Altogether a brilliant shot!

Thanks you for your comment. Indeed without the high key processing, the picture was is little dull. Too much gray.

Location
This picture was taken in a business trip in Paris, obviously on one of those February rainy day. I had an aftenoon to spend in this wondeful town but the weather was really not an invitation to photography.Time
It was in the afternoon, just after lunch. I was trying to find an interesting point of view.Lighting
The lighting was really bad, gray and flat, very cloudy but the cloud had almost no texture.Equipment
I did this shot with a small Olympus camera, the one I was using when traveling light.Inspiration
This was a kind of lucky shot. I was trying to take a picture of the reflect of the Effel tower from the rain on the pavement. The effect was not really good, so I get back and took some pictures of the Effel tower with the reflect but I always had people in my frame. I had that girl that was coming toward me, in direct line with tower. And then the magic, she went left, while no one else were on the reflect. I just capture the moment because of the position of the elements. I realize the symmetry and the composition afterward. I like the symmetry of the tower and its reflect, and the presence of the woman that breaks that symmetry.Editing
Because of the weather, the original picture is pretty flat. It is almost mono-tone. Converting it to black and white is quite obvious. Then I pushed the contrast to eliminate the cloulds, and enhance the presence of the women with the umbrella. It also helps to give definition to the reflet and the tower itself. In my camera bag
I usually have my Nikon 5100 with a couple of lens, a flash, a mini tripod, a remote trigger for the camera and for the flash, and something to clean the lens.I also have a couple of plasic clip to hold anything. And a couple of fully charge batteries.Feedback
Even when the weather or the light seems not on your side, keep on shooting. There is often an opportunity for a good picture and it is maybe just a matter of changing your point of view.
