I'm really liking the selective color along with the timely classic composition. Very well conceived and captured. Congratulations on a well deserved Finalist award for Classic Beauty. My compliments.

Location
There's an abandoned place not far from where we live that was supposed to be a housing development. The police frequents the area but actually gave us the information to contact the property developer and we now have permission to shoot there. This is in Panama City, Florida.Time
We're not morning people so this was shot in the afternoon and we were there until almost sunset.Lighting
The lighting is all-natural. We were fortunate enough to have a cloudy day that only enhanced the look of the photos.Equipment
Camera: NIKON D5100 Aperture: f/5.6 ISO: 200 Exposure: 1/500 For this shoot, no flash but we did have a tripod we used on some of the shots. We're a pair (husband and wife) so one of us will use the tripod while the other shoots without)Inspiration
We do a lot of pinup photos and the model came up with this Bonnie and Clyde inspired shoot.Editing
I did do some post-processing in Lightroom. I obviously changed the tone and sharpened up some of the clouds so that they would stand out in the photo and have a more HDR look.In my camera bag

We like to simply use our imagination when it comes to photo shoots. While this was a themed shoot, sometimes we simply go for whatever we're in the mood for. I'd say if you want to get the best look for your skies without adding a different one in post-processing, make sure you go when the sky is not totally clear. A bright, sunny day makes for a boring sky sometimes. We particularly love to go before a storm, when possible but in Florida, you can't predict the weather, that's for sure.
