Nice pose but I am afraid I have to be a little critical in that I think the eye is way too bright. You have to ask what the subject is? Is it the form of the lady or is it the eye? I found myself being constantly drawn to the eye and if that is what you intended then ok but I think with the eye brightness toned down a little it would enhance the whole image.

Love this shot. I would love to learn and add this type of photography to my skill set.

Location
This shot was taken at a studio in Ft. Myers FL. during a photo workshop.Time
This was an indoor shoot taken mid morning.Lighting
I used one softbox at a low setting with a reflector panel behind the model to create a bit of fill light.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon 5D with a studio softbox.Inspiration
I saw a shot similar to this and wanted to recreate the look.Editing
The shot was originally in color and It was really a good color photo, but the black and white version just seemed like it was supposed to be.In my camera bag
I now have my old Canon 5D and recently upgraded to a 5D Mark lll. All my lenses are Canon, a 28-135, a 70-300 and my newest 50mm which is my favorite at this time.Feedback
Keep it on Manual and experiment with your settings! Try new things and see how they come out. Not every shot is going to be perfect but you will have those wow shots that make you keep shooting.
