Location
This was taken at the groom's parent's home in Park Hills, MO. They have a small farm, with lots of photo ops!Time
This was taken at one of the toughest times of the day for photography...in the middle of the day with the sun at it's highest point!Lighting
I had to be at the right angle since the sun was so bright, and high. But I love how the sun hit the bubbles just right and that you can actually see the splashes of the bubbles that popped!Equipment
I used my Canon 5dm3, 85mm lens, no flash, no tripod.Inspiration
I am all about taking details of each and wedding that hires me to do their photography. Bubbles were one of the important parts of their day. I told all the guest to give me as many bubbles as they could...I think they did a great job! :)Editing
I reduced some of the highlights since the sun blown out some of the details in her dress, etc. That was the only processing that I did to this image. In my camera bag
2- Canon 5dm3 bodies Lenses: 85mm 1.8, 50mm 1.4, 16-35mm 2.8, 70-200mm 2.8, 100mm 2.8 580ex flash, bracket, shoe cord, batteries, lens cloths, light meter, memory cards Snacks to help me through 10-12 hours of a wedding day, bottled water, deodorant!Feedback
When the sun is bright and high, try to shoot with the sun behind them, but not to where the sun is blaring into your lens. ALWAYS read your lighting situation! Shooting MANUAL is a huge help as well. It is important to always be aware of your lighting situation as it changes minute by minute, depending on the clouds, sun, positioning of your subject and positioning of yourself. Just be ready for any type of situation, as it is important to know and understand your camera...especially when there is no time to think about what kind of manual changes you need to do with you camera.
