Thank you to all the photographers that shared their best photos shot without the subject's knowledge in the Candid Wedding Moments Photo Contest with chances to win a Canon 20D DSLR camera and more!

A special thanks to our friend and professional photographer Denis Reggie for his collaboration as a guest judge. Denis Reggie is widely regarded as the top wedding photographer in the world. He single-handedly transformed the look of staid bridal imagery into the truly natural, editorial style he termed wedding photojournalism. His iconic photograph of John Kennedy, Jr. kissing the hand of his bride Carolyn Bessette is credited by The Wall Street Journal as the watershed image that transformed the look of wedding photography forever and is hailed by editors as “the most famous wedding photograph in history.” A series of his wedding photographs requested by the Smithsonian Institution are part of the permanent collection at the National Museum of American History in Washington. He directs a small, elite team of protégés dispatched to wedding assignments but only after no less than 12 years of side-by-side training with him.

Grand Jury Winner

"What a lovely and perfectly timed image with superb expressions of heartfelt excitement. I love it. It resonates as truly authentic in every way, not one of those moments just posed for the camera. Excellent tight composition with smiling faces even in the background and surrounding hands – all adding to the happy spirit of the moment. It’s a wonderful image captured beautifully, and the use of black-and–white is a very nice added touch. This photograph is sure to be treasured by the couple and future generations. Very well done-  congratulations." - Denis Reggie

Runner Up

"Great expressions on both bride and precious girl. Love the authenticity, and that’s a tricky exposure that is right on target - well done. Love the sweet energy between the subjects and the little girl’s stare at the bride and her dress. Lovely keepsake image for the bride, shy girl and their families." - Denis Reggie

Runner Up

"I love the creative decision – and a bit of bravery, too – for the photographer to be positioned behind the couple and in the direction of the cannon blast. Great color and excitement. Nice to have the couple in motion going forward and hints of the crowd in front of them. All-in-all, a very nice and exciting moment that’s well documented." - Denis Reggie

Honorary Mention

"Love the upward looking composition and the authenticity of the moment. Capturing fireworks can be tricky – this one is very well done. Great keepsake for the couple and future generations." - Denis Reggie
