Nice composition. I would have liked a little more contrast; I feel like the blacks are lacking. But a really beautiful piece.

Behind The Lens
Location
This was taken at Dunham Massey, a favourite place for me to visit.Time
It was dawn, I was there with the intention of taking some Deer photos. This particular morning I couldn't find the Deer in the normal spots, I headed over to another area to see if the Deer were there; and stumbled on this pair walking into stunning shafts of light.Lighting
The lighting was provided by nature, it was one of those special moments with wonderful shafts of light.Equipment
This was shot on my Canon EOS 500D, using a Giottos tripod and a 55-250mm lens.Inspiration
I have always loved nature shots, especially Deer! I have had some images in my head for years, this being one of them.Editing
No major work done, just changed to B/W!In my camera bag
All the lenses I carry are Canon, 18-55mm, 50mm prime lens, 100mm macro and my 55-250mm. My main lens is the 55-250mm. I am trying to scratch together some cash for a big lens! Not got there yet though!Feedback
Always go for the golden hour, and be persistent. As I said earlier I had a struggle this particular morning locating the Deer, but with a bit of patience I found what I needed. Just keep trying if you want that special shot that you dream of!
