Fantastic find here!!!
I'm thinking this could be a Carolina Wren. Just fledged... still not much of a tail... so adorable!!

Location
I took this photo in my backyard. As I pulled up in my driveway, I saw this baby bird right in front of me on the fence.Time
It was around 11:15 AM, during my lunch break.Lighting
The lighting was perfect for this moment. The sun was not too harsh at this time of day, which provided a very soft light through the trees and on the baby bird.Equipment
I used a Canon 5D Mark III with my EF 70-300mm lens.Inspiration
This baby bird was one of four birds that hatched on my porch. It was pure luck that I came home when they all decided to leave the nest. This particular one was not quite ready to fly and it sat on my fence for a few minutes debating it's next move. Of course, I thought it was the cutest thing with all of it's baby bird fuzz. I was very fortunate that I had my camera nearby to capture this moment.Editing
I did very little photo editing with this picture because the lighting seemed to be just right. In this particular shot, there is a bug buzzing around nearby and I liked having it included in the image. In my camera bag
I carry my Canon 5D Mark III and my 3 lenses: my Sigma 12-24 wide angle lens, my 24-105mm lens, and my 70-300mm lens.Feedback
With most animal shots, I am most concerned with getting the eye in focus. This particular picture is probably one of 50 taken from many different angles. My advice is to just keep shooting while you have the opportunity because this moment will be gone before you know it.
