I shot this towards end of summertime and knew upon seeing it I wanted to edit it to somehow enhance the berries and subdue the foliage. I used an editing app called Color Pop and I love the outcome. It was taken in the summer but invokes a winter like feeling to me; hence, the title.

Generally, dont be afraid to edit and experiment. You can always try again if not satisfied; but, be sure to save your original photo. For shots similar to this one, try to look for subjects with strong contrasts; whether they be color, texture, or ??.. then use post editing tools or applications to enhance one thing only... unique textures, bright colors, a single item, etc... You will be amazed by your results!
