Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo while staying at the Nature Inn in Bald Eagle State Park in Howard, Pennsylvania.

Time

We awoke at 8am on a cold October morning to find the lake valley covered in fog! We hastily ate a quick breakfast, jumped in the car and found this location.

Lighting

The stars really aligned for me that day. The fog hung around despite the sun having already risen and gave a soft glow to the landscape around the lake.

Equipment

I hand held my Nikon D7500 with my favorite lens, a Sigma17-50mm F2.8

Inspiration

My all time most favorite time to take photos is in early morning fog!

Editing

I didn't do much post processing this photo even though I always shoot in RAW. I adjusted the highlights and color a little but that was it.

In my camera bag

I always have my Nikon D7500 and my favorite lenses in my bag at all times.
