Location

This photo was taken right in my very own back yard.

Time

The time of day of this photo was late afternoon on a crisp fall day.

Lighting

I had just parked in my driveway when i saw this beam of light hit right in the middle of the tree. I ran inside to get my camera, hoping the light wouldn't change. Thank fully it didn't by the time i got back outside to get the shot.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D3100, handheld.

Inspiration

Just happened to be in the right place at the right time to get this shot.

Editing

No post-processing was done on this photo at all.

In my camera bag

i keep all my gear, which is not much since i'm a novice, in a shoulder sling bag by Lowepro.

Feedback

my advice would be to take your camera with you everywhere because you just never know when an opportunity for an interesting photograph will present itself.
