Location
This photo was taken in Zion National Park on the Zion - Mt. Carmel Highway.
Time
This turned out to my my favorite photo from my family trip to Zion. We were on way back to Springdale in the late afternoon and my youngest needed a bathroom break. So while waiting for him I stepped onto the road to get a better view and noticed the leading lines drawing my eye towards this rocky scene.
Lighting
The lighting on the was tough it was late in the afternoon so the light was quite harsh. (plus it was hot 110!)
Equipment
This was shot with my Nikon D7500 hand held using my Sigma 17-50mm 2.8

Inspiration
I wanted a non traditional photo from my trip to Zion and this turned out to be my favorite.
Editing
Yes, since I always shoot in RAW i had to adjust color and highlights because of the harsh afternoon light
In my camera bag
I normally carry my D7500 and my favorite landscape lenses which are my Nikon 10-20mm and my Sigma 17-50mm 2.8
