Seeing this modern-day shepherd tending his Merino sheep brought to mind the 23rd Psalm that my mother taught me when I was a child. Knowing the Lord was with me and watched over me brought me through many difficult times in my life when God guided me to green pastures:

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies: thou anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23
