Hi Richard, is this a replacement sky? I ask because of the white halo between te sky and ground. If so, you need to use a brush (or whatever they call it) at the edges to blend them. Also, if you could, because I know the idea is it's night, put a little localized lightness on the bison. like light painting. Nice shot.

Hi Patti ...yes these are two photos taken from the same spot ...one of course is taken earlier in the day ...this is how most nightscape/astro landscapes are created ...the space that you are referring to is some glow from a nearby town ...I left it in there because it seemed more natural to me ...however ...if you look closer you should see that I was actually able to capture the stars all along the mountain ridgeline ...thank you imagesbyPattiC ...!!!
