A beautiful historical place. It was difficult to find a space free of tourists, an amazing feeling and togetherness to be in such an amazing place where the volcano Vesuvius erupted on August 24, 79 AD. The eruption destroyed three Roman cities, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Stabie. The mista were never rebuilt and for centuries deteriorated languishing in oblivion. Pompeii was rediscovered in the 17th century. Archaeological research has provided remarkable information about the daily life of the ancient city's inhabitants. The remains of 2,000 men, women and children were found in Pompeii. All of them died as a result of suffocation. Their bodies were covered with ash, which fixed the outline of the bodies. In Herculaneum, the first human remains were found only in 1982.Editing
