The white wagtail is one of the most common breeding birds in the Netherlands. Mainly found in the countryside. On yards but also between the legs of cows, horses and sheep in the hope that they will push up insects or larvae. The white wagtail is constantly moving its tail up and down. They breed in sheds, niches, under roof tiles, but also in ditches and in the foredunes.
