This portrait series is shot indoors with three mirrors, one camera and natural light only. It is part of a bigger project around the theme of (self-)reflection and projection - including interviews with the portrayed humans, considering the theme philosophically, individually and very intimately.
Prisms and cut glass were used to further dive into the different facets of the reflecting self - while simultaneously allowing various 'outside' perspectives on the portrayed person in one photograph. Sometimes the line between reflection and 'real' subject begins to blur and reality redefines itself within the reflection of a reflection of a reflection.
