Behind The Lens

Location

This is a photograph of many parts taken in Scotland, Peak District,Norfolk and Manchester. The foreground and backbgound are formed of landscapes and skye shot in Scotland, and The Park district ,The wooden creat photographed in my in-laws garden ,the elements for the fire started out from flames from a wood burning fire, green smoke a joss stick and the aircraft was on display in the Norfolk and Suffolk aviation museum.

Time

It's a made up shot. no real time of day

Lighting

All the elements were blended together in photoshop and lit using adjustment curves with masks to darken or lighten areas of the compost. Smoke and mist are photoshop brushes and have been artwork in.

Equipment

Shot with a sony A7, a sony a6000, Sony FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS and Sony FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS

Inspiration

This was a lock down project inspired by the Covid 19 and how in may have started in another reality

Editing

Feedback

When there is some reason you can't get out and you have a lot of time on your hands, it's worth going back thru your old images and creating something new , as well as teaching your self how to use photoshop form online tutorials and payed for ones . It has payed of on how i now work on my photography
