Good clear and sunny day with cloud cover moving in, waited so i could get a longish exposure with lust a hint of light catching the foregroundEquipment
Canon EOS 500D, EF-S18-55mm lens at focal length of 18mm, Manfrotto tripod and headInspiration
Liked the textures of the rocks and the dominance of the LighthouseEditing
First processed in Lightroom to correct lens distortion and colour balance, pull out detail in the dark areas, create a 32bit HDR from 3 shots and reprocess in light room ,HDR image and 30sec shot taken into photoshop to blend together then doge and burn areas of the rocks remove any noise and sharpen parts of the imageIn my camera bag
Small bag Just 2 lenses EF-S18-55, EF70-200L ,remote trigger , cleaning equipment, Polarising filter, and ND filter.Feedback
Get there with plenty of time to walk around and choose your spot, tend todo some banker shots and then wait for the light. And good shoes for clambering about on rough and slippery rocks
