Location
I took this photo in the surrounding of the fields around my house. They grow every where and climb even up to my roses. (while they are no climbers at all). I even have to take them out so once in a while, otherwise they overgrown my other plants/flowers.Time
I like to walk through the fields early in the morning to see if anything new is blooming. And the sun came up and shone so bright on this flower till my eye was drawn right to that flower. It was March and still cold, so I ran into the house to grab my camera. I don't use a tripod, so I pulled the camera strap tight against my neck to keep from moving. After pressing the button once, the photo turned out to be good right away. Still shivering from the cold, I immediately ran into the house to see the result.Lighting
Because the sun was shining exactly on the flower, this was the perfect moment for me to take the picture. I took a bit of distance, used some zoom and it got nice and sharp.Equipment
I used my Sony DSC-H300, and of course my glasses. That was all I needed.Inspiration
It was tracking my eyes because of the sun and the nice colour.Editing
I make only RAW pictures. If editing is needed I do that at home behind my computer. In my camera bag
When I leave my house, just to take pictures, I fill my bag with extra batteries, a cloth to keep my lens clean. A short tripod (for example to put on the railing of a bridge) and a small bag with moisture absorbers. I don't need anything else.Feedback
You don't have to go far to take beautiful pictures. Put me in a car, drive a few miles and let me go. Take a good look around you and you will discover that so much beauty can be seen in just a few square meters. Especially on the ground around you, bend your knees and you will see so much more.
