Location
This picture is taken at home. I have those so called Gâzaneas in severeal colors and they spread themselfs easy when they have bloomend. I find them between all the rocks and in other pots around my house. Sometimes in unwanted places, such as between a cactus.Time
I make always a little walk on our terrain at 11:00 H in the morning and take dead flowers out and to see what is new.Lighting
Do not stand in your own shadow, the picture will become darker or partly dark. Take one step besides and the picture has good light.Equipment
I use a Sony DSC-H300, the camera that I always carry with me. Even when I go see the postbox, because you never know what creature you will pass.Inspiration
Those two flowers where so nice to see, next to each other, with the same color and I thought now it is the good moment to make a photo. They are bright and open and the sun is not shining on them, so no shadows.Editing

I can not carry too much, it´s just a lenscleaner and a little tiny bag with salty balls ( against the salty atmosphere near the beach). And ofcouse extra batteries and my glasses. Often I call for my glasses, because I have let them on the table at home.Feedback
I live in the mountains in Parque Natural de São Mamede in Portugal and around my house I have only rocks and sand. I have potted all my plants in vases ( I have many plants) and 80% of my pictures are made at home on my patio. Other pictures are made in different places when we ar gonna make a tour with the car . Iff you have the possibility to go out, do it and picture as much as you can. At home you will see some fabulous results.
