Location
I took this photo near the bridge of Portagem. When you drive further you are 5 km from the Spanish border.If you decide to go left, you will arrive at the high-altitude Marvão Castle. The water under the bridge is called Rio Sever. You can swim in there, there is a special area marked out for that.Time
This photo was taken at noon, we like to make tours with the car to discover interesting places. And this was one of them.Lighting
In Portugal are most of the houses white painted against the hot from the Sun. I had never seen a roman bridge before. We were sitting at the restaurant along the river Sever for a lunch. I crawled a bit down to the river and the photo was made.Equipment
I used the Sony DSC-H300 without using flash.Inspiration
I live now in a country with a lot of roman influences. I am interrested in Archeology and History and I like to see all those places that this country offers to me.Editing
I did nothing of postprocessing ( I did even not know in those times what that means) This photo is RAW.In my camera bag
I use always the Sony DSC-H300, because I have no other camera. Further, I take always extra batteries with me, a lenscleaner and most important : my glasses.Feedback
Do not be afraid to go off the road and you will see amazing things. Sometimes they are even not indicated, no sign with an indication, but you have seen it. And often there is more around that spot, but you to discover them.
