This photo was taken during a vacation trip to Portugal, more specifically when I was in Lisbon, a bit close to St.George Castle, in Rue das Damas. I enjoy to take pictures when I travel.Time
Around noon, a bit later. When I visit a new destination I try to be assisted by a Tourist Guide to understand how to wander the streets. You can notice that shadows are not defined, so it kind of tells it's cloudy midday..... well, sort of...Lighting
We were walking some of the less beaten paths in town and suddenly found this alley near Miradouro Sta. Luzia. But as mentioned, being noon (or around), sun is a bit harsh, and at the same time it was a bit cloudy, so needed to balance speed and aperture to have more of the alley exposed .... but could not make it "perfect" for the sky .... However, I think that if the shot was taken early morning or evening, blue hour, golden hour .... the shadows would be there and contrast would be dramaticEquipment

At first, the alley, but then the hanging clothes, the bougainvillea and the branch "trying to reach the window". It had rained a bit so it would add some strength to color and contrastEditing

This was a a watershed experience... the "last" use of my DSLR equipment because I changed to mirrorless which also means less weight... So now I only use Nikon Z7 ii, Nikon Z 24-70 f/2.8 and Nikon Z 14-24 f/2.8. Of course, still using most of the DSLR lenses with the adapter. Also i bring a Befree Manfrotto tripod, cards, filters, etc..Feedback
Well, you know weather is not to be trusted (photographically speaking) so you have to be prepared to adapt exposure immediately ... but the most important, I think, is go out and look for new places, new scenarios ... street photo is very attractive ... and challenging
