Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Le Château de Chenonceau in Chenonceaux France. This your lady was in the the tour group and wanted some photos taken around the beautiful Château. This particular capture is really liked because the of the Château in the background. There was a breeze blowing with slight gust and as she was getting the hair out of her face I snapped this photo.

Time

This photo was taken around midday.

Lighting

The sun was high in the sky with broken cloud cover that gave varied lighting conditions.

Equipment

This was a handheld shot with my Nikon D750. We were moving all over the ground so the use of a tripod was not a good choice at the time.

Inspiration

When this your lady asked me to photograph her in the beautiful setting I couldn't resist her overall beauty and wanted to make the best of the surroundings. I wasn't too keen and the breeze and gust of wind which in many cases make for tough shooting conditions. Fortunately, the wind proved to be an asset in this shot. A gust of wind just as she was getting the hair out of her face produced this photo.

Editing

Simple touch up in Lightroom Classic.

In my camera bag

Nikon D750 or D850, lash, extra batteries, extra lenses wide and tele zoom, cleaning gear and sd cards.

Feedback

I always tell patience and to see the subject you are shooting. Not to just look and shoot. See and shoot.
