Behind The Lens

Location

The Danton Restaurant in Paris.

Time

Evening. Dessert after dinner.

Lighting

Natura lighting.

Equipment

IPad Pro Aperture f/2.2?ISO 32?Shutter 1/35?Focal Length 83/20?

Inspiration

When the dessert came to the table I was amazed how beautiful it looked.

Editing

None.

In my camera bag

I usually carry a Nikon D850, 4 lenses, a flash unit, extra batteries, rain hood, extra Fast cards, cleaning gear.

Feedback

Photographing food on the run can produce an image that is great, good, so-so or just plain horrible. Look at your meal, move it around for the best angle and lighting and (for me) never hoot it straight down.
