Behind The Lens

Location

When you travel the same road be open to exploring the way nature and light combine to present new compositions of the familiar scene. I have passed this line of trees in all seasons but this ray of light along a lonely stretch of Hwy 44 in California called out to me.

Feedback

This is a great example of a daytime shot where the harsh light works. Shooting during clearing storms can be one of the best times to catch unique plays of light and shadow, plus it is a wonderful time to be out in nature as it shakes off the inconvenience.
