This guy was enjoying a beautiful winter day in the desert. The "wild" mustang horses of the west are a controversial animal. Their negative impact on the environment and the fact that their populations are difficult to control, coupled with their status as a non-native species leaves them in a unique predicament. Of course, they are beautiful animals and people love horses so there will always be challenges.
