L-L-La-La-Love this! Great color & light! It looks splendidly delish & somewhat like a deep sea critter or newly discovered amoeba! Congrats! Kim

It's a funny thing really - in the process of slicing pears thinly, I thought, "this looks like a pair of lungs!" After slicing a number of pears, this seemed like the perfect slice for my experiment. The title is as important as the shot - Res pear ation - giving information to the viewer as to what this depicts in the creator's mind. Please be sure to check out my kiwi - "Total Eclipse of the Kiwi" - using the same technique and adding a corner mask to the image.Editing

Besides my trusty D300, I like to keep an led flashlight, filters, a spray bottle of water, a black backdrop cloth, and of course my phone. The Really Right Stuff tripod is a piece of equipment that I am committed to - absolutely rock solid. There is no center column, which makes so much more sense in the field.Feedback
This shot inspired me to take additional shots of veggies & fruits, which are in my ViewBug Gallery. No all studio work should be so serious. Let your sense of humor shine and that of your fruit!
