I visited Crete just to shoot this little monastery that sits in the sea at Chania. The name is "Ayios Nikolaos".
Took 1 and half hour driving ,to get there just before dawn. The path is laid with rough little rocks that make approaching the monastery really difficult , especially if you curry with you 10 kilos of gear.
No clouds but a beautiful atmosphere and light. Used the Nikon D800 with the Nikon 14-24 plus the Nissi 10 stop and 3 stop ND grad. Exposure was 30.0 sec; f-5.6; ISO 100
