Behind The Lens

Location

March 2019 a year before the pandemic, I was visiting family in the UK and the last few days were spent in London before heading back to Australia. this was a shot taken through the bedroom window of our hotel.

Time

I think around 7:00 pm, having just returned to the room after taking some shots outside.

Lighting

I like the lighting of this, I wanted to retain some shadows but not at the expense of all the detail.

Equipment

I think this was taken with iPhone 7

Inspiration

I had moved to Australia in 2009, this was our first trip back and very last minute decision to stay a few days in my home town, I wanted to make the most of the great location.

Editing

Just a little adjustment to exposure and shadows.

In my camera bag

I have a trusty Canon 600D with a range of kit lenses and some additional telephoto and wide-angle lenses
